    Been sat in hospital for the last 6 hours with a huge allergic reaction to hydroxychloroquine. Iv only been on the meds for 2 weeks and they said to stop them straight away. The most common adverse effects are a mild nausea and occasional stomach cramps with mild diarrhea. For short-term treatment of acute malaria, adverse effects can include abdominal cramps, diarrhea, heart problems, reduced appetite, headache, nausea and vomiting.

    Hydroxychloroquine plaquenil withdrawl? - LUPUS UK I can't believe you were told to stop taking plaquenil after only 6 months since it can take up to one YEAR to achieve full benefits! I don't know much about any sort of withdrawal but if I were you I'd start taking it again. I'd also have your thyroid checked. I'm hypothyroid and take levo along with he plaquenil.
